I'm a tutor who is based out of Buffalo, New York, where I enjoy watching sports, reading, and practicing photography when I'm not working with students in the classroom. I have my bachelor's degree from the University of Buffalo in secondary social studies education. I also have my master's degree in reading education. As a tutor, I'm able to provide students with lessons in a wide variety of subjects. Some of the topics I've helped students with in the past include reading, history, geography, and writing. I have a deep passion for working with young people, which is what initially inspired me to become an educator. I believe that children should be allowed to take risks in the learning environment. This allows for an environment that encourages creative thoughts and expressions as well as high levels of thinking. I have experience working with students from ages 5 to 18 in a wide variety of subjects. I've also spent time tutoring special education students. There's nothing quite like the feeling I get when I finally help a student achieve their breakthrough moment in the classroom. I want to make use of the skills I've spent my career developing to help you reach a similar breakthrough moment.
